In tribute to Raymond Leach November 16th 1941-October 3rd 2018

Raymond Leach had a real passion and love of sport, particularly football, with a huge awareness of the positive part sport can give to young people.

He used to watch the youth games every weekend at King Georges Park, up until around 10 years ago, when he became too ill to walk there.

Today is Raymonds funeral and last week we had an email from his daughter Heather requesting that instead of flowers people donated to London Sports Trust. An extremely kind and thoughtful act at this sad time.

The London Sports Trust is extremely grateful as this donation will help so many deprived children and young people achieve their sporting & vocational potential. The money raised will go directly into our City Sports programme and will really make a difference to another young persons life!

We will update this news piece to let you know who this has helped in memory of Raymond.

Our thoughts are with Raymond Leach's family and loved ones at this very difficult time.

Thank you!
